30-Day Blog Challenge: Day 6–Sing Us a Song…

Day 6 Challenge question:  What are your favorite songs?  Seriously??  That’s almost as hard as asking me if I can go to Hobby Lobby and not look at anything!!

I’m going to try to narrow it down to just a few.  It would be easier to just link my four music Pinterest boards, than to list my all of my favorites!   (Please note:  That One Mom is an Amazon Affiliate and clicking on any of these links will take you to their website.  Any purchases via Amazon Affiliate links provide commission to us at no additional cost to you.)

Here goes nothing:

The Flower Duet…Charlotte Church.  If I had to pick one song that I absolutely love and wouldn’t want to give up, this would probably be it!

Maybe I’m Amazed…A.J. Croce.  I know this was a Paul McCartney song, but Jim Croce’s son does an amazing rendition.

Ain’t It Enough...Old Crow Medicine Show.  I like the version where they are in the echo chamber of the Sound Emporium (look it up on Youtube).  I really, really, really, really wish I had an echo chamber!

Dream a Little Dream of Me…Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.  Wonderful song, wonderful talent.

Watching the River Run…Loggins and Messina.  We had a lot of records growing up–from all kinds of artists and all different genres.  I always loved Loggins & Messina and I passed that love on to my children.

I Can’t Make You Love Me…Bonnie Raitt.  Such a soulful voice.  I love her.

Cecilia…Simon and Garfunkel.  Such a fun song!

Happy…Pharrell Williams.  I love, love, LOVE this song.  I can’t hear it and not dance!!  It makes me…wait for it…HAPPY!!

I’m stopping here, because seriously, I have hundreds and hundreds of songs that I absolutely love and none of us really have time for that.  Maybe I’ll start doing a weekly favorite or something!!
