3 Fun Games for Halloween!

Halloween can be a great time to explore your level of creativity. Along with carving pumpkins, coming up with the best costumes and decorations, or figuring out how to get the most candy, playing games is a simple way to get the whole group involved in the festivities!

Today, I have three printable games just for Halloween. Normally, I would put these exclusively in the That One Mom Subscriber Library, but I decided to give everyone a treat. These Halloween printables can be downloaded directly from the links below the photos! (The Scavenger Hunt and Charades are in the same link.) Don’t forget to keep scrolling and sign up for more great freebies from the Subscriber Library!

Fun Halloween Games

  1. Halloween Scavenger Hunt — There are a variety of scavenger hunts, but the easiest is to pick specific items that everyone has to look for. The person who finds the most, gets a prize. This scavenger hunt is suitable for children or adults. Additionally, have each person take a picture of the items on the list and turn it into a photo scavenger hunt!
  2. Halloween Charades — A game of charades is always a good time and adding Halloween activities to the list definitely gives it an extra level of challenge! For anyone who has never played, charades is fairly simple. Just choose a charade from the list and act it out without words for your fellow players. The first one to guess it wins the round and you move on to the next player until you run out of clues. I suggest setting a timer for each turn…probably three to five minutes at the most, unless you want to play all night! The player with the most correct guesses at the end wins.
  3. Halloween “Would You Rather” Game — “Would You Rather” questions make great conversation starters! Print them out on cardstock and cut out each individual card. Keep the cards on the counter or kitchen table and randomly ask the questions to keep the dialogue flowing. Include one in the kiddies’ lunchboxes or bring them along on car trips to keep everyone occupied!
