Have you seen the movie “The Polar Express”??? It’s one of my favorite Christmas movies. The message is very sweet, but it’s the music that I love the most!
One of the songs from the movie is “Believe” by Josh Groban. If you haven’t heard the song or heard Josh Groban, I highly suggest you look it up because the man is talented!
The movie has a lot to do with believing in Santa, but the song talks about how we sometimes lose our way and stop believing in our dreams. Unfortunately, this happens so very often as we grow up and it’s sad. However, the lyrics also go on to tell us if we believe in what we feel in our hearts then we’ll have what we need to make our dreams come true. (It’s important to note that I’m paraphrasing here!)
Childlike faith–in just about anything–can take us farther than we would ever dream possible. It’s very easy to let life get us down…to stop believing in ourselves and our dreams. Sometimes having a positive attitude and believing we can be successful takes more energy than we have to spare at the moment.
But don’t give up!
Love, learn, trust, grow. Believe in yourself. Believe in your talents. Believe in your dreams.
“You have everything you need…if you just Believe.”
