Feels Like Fall (Round-Up of Recipes, Costume Ideas, and Decorations!)

October 8, 2015 by Beth

Ah, October! That magical time of ghosts and pumpkins and goblins and fodder shocks…when people dress up and tell scary stories and little children plead for just one more piece of their Trick-or-Treat stash. Though technically here, the end of summer is in September, it is in October that we usually start noticing that summer is truly over. Whether it is the dropping of the leaves from the trees or the “sweater” weather or in my case, the decision of whether to turn on the heat or the air conditioning, October just feels like fall!

In the spirit of the change of seasons and the upcoming Halloween celebrations, That One Mom is sharing some favorite fall and Halloween posts. Whether you need food, costume ideas, or decorating inspiration, you can find it here and get that fall feeling for yourself!

Favorite Fall Recipes

Fall weather tends to be a little cooler…especially early in the morning and late in the evening. This makes it an excellent time of year for soup (though if you ask me, it’s always an excellent time of year for soup). It’s also a great time of year for anything with apples (definitely some cider), corn, and squash!
