It’s been a busy, busy month here at the That One Mom household. I’m not sure why…it just seems like there is some sort of something every day that we have to do or attend or plan. It’s exhausting!
We recently attended a birthday celebration for one of my husband’s family members. I volunteered to make some desserts, but I knew I wouldn’t have a ton of time or energy to get them done. I also knew I didn’t want to spend more than a few minutes in the grocery store on my day off and I needed to use ingredients I had on hand.
Banana Cream Pie Dip fit all of those criteria! I actually had everything I needed to make the dip and only had to buy some extras to dip in it. Plus, this recipe is so super simple to make and if the Sunshine Boy is to be believed, it tastes fabulous on top of Rice Krispie treats!!
Quick and Easy Banana Cream Pie Dip
Banana Cream Pie pudding mix, 3.4 oz (small package)
1 cup cold milk
1 container Cool Whip or other frozen whipped topping, 8 oz.
Vanilla wafers and animal crackers
Combine pudding mix and milk in a medium size bowl. Stir or beat to combine and get the clumps out. Fold in the whipped topping until completely mixed. Don’t over mix or it could break down. Chill for 30 minutes and serve with vanilla wafers and animal crackers.
That’s it! It takes very few ingredients, very little time, and tastes fabulous! There is not much more you can ask for from a dessert. : ) What is your favorite easy-to-make dessert??
I’m not gonna lie…it’s pretty good!! If you make it, let me know what you think!
